Reasons why it is so hard being a famous couple...

1) We have to wear baseball caps and sunglasses whenever we are out together.
2) We constantly are getting phone calls and emails asking very personal questions.
3) We are forced to live in two different states to keep the paper's level down.
4) Everyone hates us because we are beautiful.
5) They are all jealous of our colorful romance.
6) We have to call each other code names (i.e. snuggle bunny, love bug)
7) We have to ignore those stories about us in the tabloids.
8) We have to use payphones because they tap our phone lines.
9)We have trouble making time for one another flying back and forth from Chicago and LA between the press releases and news junkets.
10) I made everything up because I need a creative outlet and my boyfriend was recently in the news for making a huge difference in our community where everyone thought it was impossible.

*Way to go Alex* You make you rock'n'Roll girlfriend proud!;)

I thought not being there to make you happy would be hard.

Beware: I'm not a poet...

I'm not a poet, and not very gifted in the meaningful words category but being with Alex has brought out the utmost "mushiness" in me. So here is something that is somewhat descriptive of how I feel about Alex in a somewhat poetic fashion:

The Countdown Begins

Took me a second to figure it out but when I did you better believe I was impressed. This guy sure knows how to woo a girl.*

What's the deal-io?

So a lot of my friends are trippin: "Who is this Kathy girl?" "Why do you like her so much, like, what's she like?" and a lot of other similar questions. Now your questions will be answered, this post will fill you in on Kathy Freeman, and by the end of it you'll see why she's rocked my world.

Well, the first thing that attracted me to Kath was our natural chemistry; we just got along really well really fast. We were joking with each other within the first ten minutes of being introduced! I felt really comfortable around her and she really made me laugh, it was great! So, during the first couple days that I hung out with her I developed a pretty intense attraction to her - I just loved hanging around her! I knew she lived in Chicago so on the last day she was here I had to make my move, if anything was going to happen. So I made my move, it worked, and ta-da!

Kathy makes me feel so loved, so appreciated, so respected and so hopeful about the future. One of the most important things for me is her spirit, her passion, her intensity - she's a firecracker! She isn't afraid to tell me when I mess up or when I should correct a behavior or when I could do something better...I love that! The more I get to know her the more I find myself just totally falling for her, falling for everything that she is and everything she wants to be. She's an amazing woman, and I know she has so much potential. And her sense of humor is great!!

So, in summary, Kath is an amazing woman who has completely rocked my world.

Getting to know Alex...

I wanted to let those of you who only know Alex as my boyfriend a little inside into the wondrful man I'm dating... Alex is living in California (as of now;)), owns his own web buisness, is committed to following Christ and whatever it is that God would lead him to do. His favorite season is spring, his favorite color is baby blue (how cute is that), he is optimistic, he is intentional, he was homeschooled (haha)(no really...homeschool for the win!), he enjoys my cooking (esp. steak!), he like pepsi (not coke);), he likes cats (not dogs).

Those are just some basics about my guy, there is defenitly a lot more to him than that but there is only so much room on this blog so...next we'll find out a little bit about me. (Cause we know it's ALL about me);)
