So, I finally braved a bridal store. I tried on some dresses that looked horrible on me, but none the less I'll share the experience with you.
This dress was entirely too poufy, although beautiful in style. I defenitly do not want a strapless.

I loved the cream accents.
This Gold dress was a bridesmaids dress, but I thought, hey! Only 200 bucks and it's beautiful, I can be unconventional. Besides what most people don't realize is that a white dress doesn't symbolize purity, it symbolizes wealth and well, I am not wealthy;)

This was our Salesperson, very friendly and very helpful.;)
This last one was prettier on my friend who is already married. I just don't look ruight in your stereotypical strapless bridal gown.

bleh.
And that was my first attempt at looking for a wedding dress. Ah!
